The restoration of two Dragon legged pier tables by the talented Royal Collection conservators, for the George IV exhibition at the Queen's Gallery . Originally situated in the Rose Satin Drawing Room of Carlton House, the tables were adorned with 100% red silk velvet that was applied behind the front and side gilt fretwork, and rear legs, replicating the scheme of the tables as pictured in Charles Wild's watercolour of the drawing room.
